Post Assessment Consulting
When the answer needs a closer look.
The Organizational Stability Assessment shows what is happening across the business, where it is affecting performance and retention, and what deserves leadership attention first.
Some findings provide leadership with everything needed to move forward. Others reveal gaps, contradictions, or unanswered questions that require a closer look inside the organization.
Post assessment consulting follows those selected findings deeper into the business to understand how the issue is taking shape within the company’s people, processes, leadership, and daily operations.

The Deep Dive
The assessment provides the starting point. Consulting builds on selected findings by gathering additional qualitative and quantitative information from three primary sources.
Employees: Private conversations add context that a structured assessment cannot capture in full. Employees can clarify what is happening in the daily work, including details or experiences that may not have appeared in the original responses. Redthorne may also speak with employees who did not complete the assessment.
Conversations are conducted across groups rather than isolated individuals.
Managers and Leadership: Managers are examined through two lenses. They are employees working within their own expectations, workload, authority, training, and organizational pressures. They are also responsible for directing work, supporting employees, communicating priorities, and maintaining accountability. Redthorne examines whether managers have the clarity, training, time, authority, and support needed to manage effectively. We also look at how leadership expectations, competing responsibilities, additional roles, and pressure from different levels of the organization may be shaping management practices.
Paper and Digital Records: Company records provide the quantitative and documented evidence needed to test, validate, and deepen what emerges through the assessment and conversations. Depending on the selected finding, Redthorne may review turnover history, salary ranges, regional compensation information, exit interviews, performance records, productivity data, organizational materials, onboarding documents, policies, procedures, internal communications, and previous workplace initiatives. These records help establish what changed, what was documented, whether compensation and responsibilities align, whether earlier warning signs were present, and where formal company practices differ from everyday operations.
Bringing the Sources Together: Redthorne compares employee experience, management practices, leadership expectations, and company records rather than relying on any one source alone. This allows us to clarify what the assessment uncovered, validate the relevant details, identify the specific root cause, and understand why the issue developed or remained out of view.
Connecting the Pieces
Redthorne compares what employees experience, how managers lead and carry out their responsibilities, what leadership intends, and what company records establish.
This comparison helps identify:
-
Where written procedures differ from daily practice
-
Where leadership expectations and management capacity are misaligned
-
Where roles, responsibilities, or decision authority have become unclear
-
Where communication or context is being delayed, softened, or lost
-
Why an issue developed or remained beneath leadership’s view
-
What is specific to the organization rather than part of the broader assessment result
If the assessment identifies a process problem, consulting does not stop at confirming that the process needs attention. Redthorne examines the affected work, the employees performing it, the managers overseeing it, and the records surrounding it to determine why the problem developed and why it remained out of view.
The goal is to verify what the assessment uncovered, identify the specific root cause within the organization, and bring the relevant corrections to light so leadership can address the issue and recognize it earlier in the future.
What Leadership Receives
Redthorne brings the deeper review together into a company specific explanation of the selected finding.
Leadership receives clarity on:
-
The specific conditions creating or sustaining the issue
-
Where expectations, responsibilities, or daily practices are misaligned
-
Why the issue developed or remained outside leadership’s view
-
What requires correction at the source
-
What can help the organization recognize the issue earlier in the future
Redthorne does not implement changes on the organization’s behalf. We bring the specific corrections into view, explain why they matter, and give leadership the context needed to decide what happens next.
